Man is Spiritual Being
Man not only has flesh, but also Spirit. Thus, Thinking that death means the end of existence is wrong.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 "and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it." Mattew 4:4 "... 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God..." Luke 8:55 "Her spirit returned(she had died), and at once she stood up.
Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat." There is not only visible existence, but also evil spiritual beings who are invisible, threatening and harassing you. Hebrew 2:14-15 "....so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil-- and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death." Mattew 12:22-21 "Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. All the people were astonished and said..." Luke 9:42-43 "..., the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father. And they were all amazed at the greatness of God. While everyone was marveling at all that Jesus did,"
Man is Sinner
The biblical criteria of why we are a sinner are not the same as the laws of this World. One criterion is the Law of God. The Law of God does not change from one generation to another, a place to another, individual to another. 'You are a sinner' means you broke the law of God. Think simply about the Ten Commandments. Exodus 20:3-17 "You shall have no other gods before me... shall not murder, shall not commit adultery,..." No one can stand before God as righteous. Romans 3:10 "As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;" As the offender who broke one of the laws of this world has to be punished according to its law, a sinner who broke the law of God also has to pay the cost.
This cost contains curse, agony, anxiety, failure, depression, and death. Death is greatest among them, there are two types of death. The death of your flesh refers to your body returning to the land and the second death refers to your entering everlasting suffering through unquenchable fire. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Mattew 25:41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels." You can take nothing with you when you die.
Jesus Christ Undertakes Our Sins
There is a way to escape from the curse that came upon humans as a result of sin and a way to overcome the oppression and aggression were of devil and demons. God opened the way to escape from the curse with the sacrifice of animals in old testaments. As the priest laid one hand on the head of the sheep and asked God for forgiveness, the sins were transferred to the sheep. As the death of the sheep was a parable about Jesus who would later pay for man's sin with His own blood freeing him from the consequences of sin. Leviticus 17:11 "... For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life." But animals do not have souls, so they cannot make atonement for the sin of human souls.
A man required the savior who can even take the sin of the soul. God sent Jesus. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Jesus is the one who came to die for your sin. John 1:29 "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" Jesus took up the curse, poverty and diseases, oppression of devil and demon caused by our sins. Isaiah 53:4-6 "Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,...But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds, we are healed. and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all."
Signs will Follow the One Who Saved
One is able to know when his body is living, whether he is saved or not. The Bible describes more than one kind of evidence to confirm! you already live because you accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior and became a child of God.
1) The Bible is a record of God's promises to man. God kept all that he promised. He is trustworthy. He promised he would send Jesus and he certainly sent him and let him take the sin instead of us. He promised one's sin will be cleaned and he will become a child of God if he accepts Jesus. We can believe that we are saved through the word of God who is trustworthy.
2) Assurance of the Holy Spirit Jesus said those who believe in him will receive the Holy Spirit and power. The Holy Spirit is able to come upon only to those who believes in Jesus. The presence of Holy Spirit in you definitely assures you have become the child of God because you accepted Jesus. Although he is invisible, W are able to confirm! Holy Spirit's presence through the work(several gifts from holy spirit) of Holy spirit. John 20:22 "And with that, he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit." Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth..."
Mark 16:17-18 "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." 2 Corinthians 1:22 "set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come." Acts 2:4 "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." Acts 10:45-46 "The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God."
You, who accepted Jesus, repent and ask eagerly in prayer for the Holy Spirit to indwell your soul, then you will certainly receive the gift of the Holy Spirit according to His promise. Luke 11:10-13 "...For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened...how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" Acts 2:38-39 "...Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call."
3) Peace and pleasure will come upon someone who is saved and he/she will meet God the Creator, and may discover the significance of his or her life. John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
Jesus Christ will come again soon
The second coming of Jesus Christ is the hope of believers, and is faithful to the promises and prophecies in His Word. In His first coming, Jesus Christ came to earth as a baby in a manger in Bethlehem, just as prophesied. Jesus fulfilled many of the prophecies of the Messiah during His birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection. However, there are some prophecies regarding the Messiah that Jesus has not yet fulfilled. The second coming of Christ will be the return of Christ to fulfill these remaining prophecies. In His first coming, Jesus was the suffering Servant. In His second coming, Jesus will be the conquering King. In His first coming, Jesus arrived in the most humble of circumstances. In His second coming, Jesus will arrive with the armies of heaven at His side.
After Jesus ascended into heaven, the angels declared to the apostles, ‘Men of Galilee,’ they said, ‘why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven’ (Acts 1:11). Matthew 24:30 declares, “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.” Titus 2:13 describes the second coming as a “glorious appearing.”
When is Jesus coming back?
Jesus will come back soon. However, the exact time when Jesus is coming again no one knows. Mark 13:32 says, "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Interestingly, the disciples asked Jesus the same question just before He returned to heaven. At that time Jesus told them it was not for them to know the times or seasons which are in the Father’s authority. Therefore, Jesus may come back tomorrow, next month, next year or 50 years from now. So what does this mean for you and me? Always be ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Watch and focus on Jesus because the devil is seeking to distract mankind from understanding the signs and closeness of Jesus' coming.
The second coming is spoken of in greatest detail in Revelation 19:11-16, “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. ‘He will rule them with an iron scepter.’ He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
